Steacie is the independent owner/operator of both Weed Man and Mosquito Hero. Her parents, Gary and Ellen successfully operated the franchise for 20 years before Steacie took over in 2008. Since then she has doubled the company.
Steacie has 3 sons who work with her intermittently and a daughter-in-law who is making her way up in the company. She has always focused on her community and supports local charities and community groups. Steacie believes strongly in customer service and wants each customer to be treated like a good friend.
In the off season, Steacie's passion is travelling to explore new places. At home she likes to get lost in the garden, go paddle boarding on the river, walk her rescue dog Chloe and spend time relaxing at the cottage with her partner Ron.
Emma has worked her way up to the Technical Manager position for Weed Man Muskoka. She brings high energy to the team and years of leadership experience.
Emma has come to Weed Man after graduating High School with honors, bringing a high level of organization and communication to the team. Emma also brings a fresh perspective and way of thinking to the organization.
Emma believes in the power of women and her goal is to build up women in the industry, and to promote strength in the women of Muskoka! Emma also enjoys team building and understands the importance of a strong group to hit the ground running and achieve our goals.
Weed Man is a good fit because of Emma's love for the outdoors. In her off time you can find her kayaking, swimming and generally enjoying the things Muskoka has to offer.
Shannon brings over 20 years of customer service experience and Leadership, having received certificates and awards for both. She is also St. John’s Ambulance First Aid Certified.
Her background is in the Hospitality and Tourism field, where she excelled at service excellence, and helping people have excellent experiences. She grew up on a Dairy farm and is familiar with the Agricultural industry too, bringing experience and creativity to the industry.
Originating from North Western Ontario, Shannon is familiar with what areas like Muskoka can offer. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, fishing and taking care of her critters; on the weekends you would typically find her outside doing something with her pets or in the garden.
Shannon enjoys solving problems and is an organized soul; she invites you to share your outdoor goals with us so that we can help you achieve them!
