We here in Muskoka could not have asked for a more amazing team of individuals. We are so pleased with all of our team's skills and professionalism. Each one of them brought different skills and strengths and helped us have an exceptional year! We had to start a little early this year as spring sprung before we could have predicted, and these folks all worked their butts off to make sure we were able to deliver the right products at the right time! Thank you (left to right) Zack, Steven, Emma, Michael, Wesley, Jacob, (missing) Jim and Owen for an amazing year!
2024 Season
We are happy to announce our Weedy Award for the season goes to... Wesley Levesque! Wesley is our resident Mosquito Hero and an effective applicator. We tried to send him out to do other services this season, and while effective, we put him back onto our Mosquito Applications due to high demand! Wesley gets his work done regularly and is great with our clients. When Wesley gets a compliment it almost always is because he has taken the time to educate our clients on the process and he always makes them feel comfortable and well informed. He is an amazing part of our team and has been recognized for his merits. Thank you Wes for another amazing season!
August 2024
These two are a couple of our returning veterans, and are constantly keeping us all in stitches! They work really great as a team, and also excellent at individual tasks. They always check to see if there is anything else they can do before they leave, and are excellent examples of Weed Man technicians, and our Brand.
This time, he has chosen to let Steven take some of the shine and would only like to say "thanks again for the support and vote of confidence"

Zack has been with Weed Man Muskoka for 3 seasons and is a Rockstar! When we need a bit of muscle, or a really good hug, Zach is our guy.

Mr. Owen Jibb is our winner this month, and has been an amazing addition to our team. He is new this season and we hope to keep him for as many season's as he will give us.

Jacob is a new hire this season, and has been astounding us all with his ability to pick up the processes and to fulfill our goals easily! Jacob is both friendly and professional and gets the job done! He even rides his bike to work!
Jacob Says: "Hi! My name is Jacob. I am currently studying Statistics at Western University. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing sports and the outdoors! Thanks!"
Steacie is the independent owner/operator of both Weed Man and Mosquito Hero. Her parents, Gary and Ellen successfully operated the franchise for 20 years before Steacie took over in 2008. Since then she has doubled the company.
Steacie has 3 sons who work with her intermittently and a daughter-in-law who is making her way up in the company. She has always focused on her community and supports local charities and community groups. Steacie believes strongly in customer service and wants each customer to be treated like a good friend.
In the off season, Steacie's passion is travelling to explore new places. At home she likes to get lost in the garden, go paddle boarding on the river, walk her rescue dog Chloe and spend time relaxing at the cottage with her partner Ron.
Emma has worked her way up to the Technical Manager position for Weed Man Muskoka. She brings high energy to the team and years of leadership experience.
Emma has come to Weed Man after graduating High School with honors, bringing a high level of organization and communication to the team. Emma also brings a fresh perspective and way of thinking to the organization.
Emma believes in the power of women and her goal is to build up women in the industry, and to promote strength in the women of Muskoka! Emma also enjoys team building and understands the importance of a strong group to hit the ground running and achieve our goals.
Weed Man is a good fit because of Emma's love for the outdoors. In her off time you can find her kayaking, swimming and generally enjoying the things Muskoka has to offer.
Shannon brings over 20 years of customer service experience and Leadership, having received certificates and awards for both. She is also St. John’s Ambulance First Aid Certified.
Her background is in the Hospitality and Tourism field, where she excelled at service excellence, and helping people have excellent experiences. She grew up on a Dairy farm and is familiar with the Agricultural industry too, bringing experience and creativity to the industry.
Originating from North Western Ontario, Shannon is familiar with what areas like Muskoka can offer. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, fishing and taking care of her critters; on the weekends you would typically find her outside doing something with her pets or in the garden.
Shannon enjoys solving problems and is an organized soul; she invites you to share your outdoor goals with us so that we can help you achieve them!
